I have been looking for other things to do this past summer. I applied from retail to helping senior citizens. No one seems to be interested in me. Recently, I saw an opening for a File Clerk at this local mental health clinic. I have respect for those with a mental illnesses. My question is. Will this File Clerk job be the one. Or Is there something else out there for me. I still have my small job with the schools but would love to leave. __________________

Based on what you wrote, I can tell you that there exists a job field in most states in the field of 'developmental disabilities'. In fact I currently work in this field part time on the weekends for New York State. It is a very rewarding type job and generally good working conditions and decent pay depending on your state. To get the state job all you have to do is take a test and then keep calling for openings. You might want to look in the yellow pages or on the internet for your state the jobs of 'caregiving' or 'developmental disabilities jobs ohio" and just add your state in the search term instead of ohio.
