anagee1 Member	# Posted: 21 Oct 2009 15:02 Reply For a long time I have been scared to do anything with my life because I have always doubted myself and have felt insecure. After I fell in debt with credit cards I realized I couldn't do anything right. I felt like I wasn't worthy of anything. A few months ago, I was working at a fast food place and it was probably one of the most miserable times of my life. It was then that I realized I had to do more with my life. I guess my question is should I attend University of Phoenix? Is this the right move for me? __________________ anamontes777@yahoo.com
TomAdmin Admin	# Posted: 25 Dec 2009 12:51 Reply You should enroll in the University of Phoenix if you have identified a very specific career path and goal and field of interest that you feel you will have a lot of passion an interest in. Don't just enroll there with half hearted desire. Before making that kind of time and monetary commitment you want to be sure that you have the best possible chance of success. So identifying your main 'definite chief aim' in life is probably the first order of business. Your definite chief aim should be written down clearly and very specifically and provide a clear date by when it will be achieved. So for example lets say you really dream and have a passion to become an expert architect. Well then your definite chief aim will cover exactly by when you will accomplish this goal.. and you will also detail specifically how you intend to achieve this goal. In order to realize your true dreams organized planning is also necessary and of course hard work as well. And then never give up on your dream. Consult with others who have already done the type of work that you might be interested in. Ask and question as many of them as possible and do NOT be shy about asking them what is involved in that career path. You can even call people up at companies who are already doing that type of work and ask to interview them. Be aggressive but also friendly and polite and offer them something in return. The more you do that, the more you will realize whether or not that career path is right for you. So you can see there is an important preparation phase to launch yourself on the right trajectory, but don't prepare forever, eventually you will have to run with your chosen path and NEVER look back in regret. good luck __________________
